Questions, troubleshooting, and beta logistics.

Does Conversational IQ record my conversations?

No. Conversational IQ analyzes live audio on‑device to compute conversation metrics, then discards raw audio and does not store transcripts. There is no stored recording or transcript library.

How do I join the beta?

Enter your email on the homepage and we’ll send TestFlight access when a spot opens (first 200 testers).

Already invited? Install Apple’s TestFlight app, open your invite email, and tap “View in TestFlight.”

Where should I send feedback?

Email support@conversationaliq.app.

Why might a metric look “off”?

Conversation audio is messy. Results are best when your phone is nearby and the room isn’t too loud (especially in groups up to 6 people).

  • Distance: the farther a speaker is from the mic, the harder they are to detect
  • Overlapping speech: interruptions and crosstalk are harder to separate cleanly
  • Background noise: cafés, cars, fans, and music can skew timing and pace

Troubleshooting

  • Make sure microphone permission is enabled: Settings → Conversational IQ → Microphone
  • Close other audio apps that may be using the mic
  • Try a quieter room and keep the phone closer to the group
  • Restart the app (or your phone) if tracking seems stuck
