Conversational IQ is built for privacy. Your insights are computed on your device, and we avoid collecting personal data.
TL;DR: The app analyzes live audio to compute conversation metrics, then discards raw audio and does not store transcripts. We don’t sell your data.

What this policy covers
This policy applies to (1) the Conversational IQ iOS app and (2) this website (conversationaliq.app), including our beta waitlist form.
Data the app processes
Conversational IQ uses your device microphone only while you choose to track to compute metrics like talk-time balance, turn-taking, pace, and trends.
- Raw audio is processed live and not stored as a recording.
- Transcripts are not stored. If on‑device speech recognition is used to compute metrics (e.g., pace), the transcript is discarded.
- Derived metrics (for example: talk %, turns, pace, session length, and scores) are saved so you can view history and insights.
- If you label sessions or partners, those labels are stored with your session history.
What we collect on our website
If you choose to join the beta waitlist, we collect the email address you submit so we can contact you with TestFlight access and important product updates.
- We use your email only for beta access and related updates.
- You can ask us to remove your email at any time by contacting us.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell your personal information.
- We don’t store or upload raw audio recordings.
- We don’t store transcripts of your conversations.
- We don’t share your in‑app data with advertisers.
Third‑party services
Our website is hosted on Cloudflare, which may process basic request logs (for example, IP address and user agent) to operate and secure the site. If you participate in a TestFlight beta, Apple may collect information related to TestFlight and crash reports under Apple’s policies.
Data retention & deletion
- In-app data: Stored on your device until you delete the app or remove your data.
- Waitlist email: Kept until the beta concludes or you request removal.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate for a small, privacy-first product. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Children’s privacy
Conversational IQ is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us an email address through the waitlist, contact us and we’ll remove it.
